Woolen works is St Matthew's prayer shawl ministry.  We knit, crochet, sew, and quilt prayer shawls and other goods for those in crises or convalescing. Each project is unique and serves to comfort not only with warmth, but the prayers of heart mind and hands as the shawls take shape.

Woolen works ministry is open to any who wants the hands on experience of prayer in action. If you are new to the craft of knitting, etc., we have those who teach, and we learn a lot from each other.

You can find our shawls in homes, hospice, hospitals and nursing homes.  We meet on the third Wednesday from September to May at 7:00 PM.  We change location monthly, meeting at our different homes.  Be sure to contact St Matthew's for the upcoming meeting location.
