Welcome to St Matthew's Episcopal Church

We are an Episcopal church community seeking to live daily with Christ. We are old and young, and in between.  We gather for fellowship, and learning for all ages.  We are active in our community and local outreach.  As an Easter people year long, we seek and share God in our daily lives transforming this world into God's kingdom on earth.  Come open the doors and see for yourself!

News and Events

GARLAND COUNTY DETENTION CENTER, DEACON'S MASS
Our Deacon Nancy Cook will lead services for the inmates on July 19 and August 16. Please contact Nancy if you are interested in attending. Your donations of notebooks and pens are appreciated (no spiral notebooks or pens with springs).

RALPH BUNCH KIDS BACKPACK
Ralph Bunche Kids has asked St. Matthew's to provide 550 black or blue ink pens for school children. These school supplies go to economically-challenged children in the Benton schools who, without your support, would not be adequately prepared to begin the school year. The collection of pens will last until the end of July. Please consider donating pens as we "write a note" to say that we care!

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
The Benton Habit for Humanity ReStore is need of volunteers on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please click here to contact ReStore. The Habitat build site needs the following tools: speed squares, tape measurers, putty knives, and box cutters. If you have items to donate, please click here to contact Megan Eoff.

EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN (ECW)
ECW is taking the month of July off, but will reconvene in the autumn.
