St Matthew's Market 2013
St Matthew's Market, on Saturday May 11 brought many vendors and shoppers to St Matthew's Campus. The Market as a community interest project of St Matthew's offers a unique shopping experience in of arts and crafts from Arkansas Vendors in Central Arkansas  Allison Nolley, committee chair of the Market, said "we have double our vendors from last year and hope to do that again 2014."  The Market also offers locally based charities like Habitat for Humanity, Master Gardeners and Oaxaca Streetchildren Grassroots booth space for their own enterprise and information purposes. The Episcopal Church Women (ECW), organized a spring bake sale offering a 'homemade' sweets and breads just in time for Mother's Day.  St Matthew's offered lunch to everyone from the charcoal grill, and with a bouncy house and face painting the kids were taken care of too.  Proceeds from St Matthew's Market will make a contribution to Habitat for Humanity Apostle's build for 2013.  Our thanks to Forest Hills Missionary Baptist Church for letting our shoppers use their parking lot across the street. And our thanks to the vendors, and shoppers supporting our annual St Matthew's Market.  See you next year.
